6 stars! Seriously, this place is amazing. The food is fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. I had the teriyaki chicken - perfectly cooked, the sauce was incredible, a fantastic balance of sweet and savory. Their sushi is equally impressive; you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The restaurant is located in the food court of the mall, and the staff are incredibly friendly and have great service. It's clear they take pride in their food and service. Tokyo Teriyaki is a must-try for anyone craving authentic Japanese cuisine food court style. I'll definitely be back!

A group of us were going to the Colony Theater for a play and we decided to go to the food court in the Burbank Mall as there are many places to eat there and everyone could choose the food they wanted, and a few of us chose sushi. I think it's fair to say they either had new cooks or a staff shortage, as many others in our group were halfway through their meals by the time we got ours and brought it to the tables to eat. The customer service was okay, and it's difficult to talk with anyone as they were all either helping to make food, talking with other customers or had their backs to the front while doing whatever they were doing. We were glad to find seats as the food court was pretty busy, and to be fair, even though it took a long time and longer than expected to get the food, everyone who ordered it enjoyed it.

Here I am again at the food court of a mall but this time it's in the Burbank mall! I just came back from my rehab session and wanted to grab a bite on the way home and walk around for a bit and decided Burbank mall would be my target! I went with Teriyaki Tokyo! I got a #10 meal! It was teriyaki chicken with noodles fried rice and a side of vegetables with the top covered in chicken with a green tea to wash it down with. First off the green tea as always is very good! I'm a big fan of green tea especially the ITOEN brand I grew up with that! I went for the plate after the sip and I enjoyed it! I'm not a fan of teriyaki sauce as it tends to be sweet and it also varies from restaurant to restaurant but this place wasn't to but the sauce wasn't too thick and it was a bit translucent in color. It was almost as if it looked like honey but it wasn't. The chicken was cooked well I enjoyed it and there was a bit of burnt ends from when it came from the grill top. The veggies are good too it's your standard mixed greens. The fried rice was great! I loved it just the right amount of veggies and eggs mixed with the rice as well as the color it wasn't to brown and too light it was just right indicating that it had good portion size amount of soy sauce and whatever they use to give it color. The noodles however could be worked on. It was a bit bland and flavorless in which I think it was that way because they drenched my plate with the teriyaki sauce I guess to give it a boost and to add the flavor as supposed to adding it on the noodles. That was another thing they drenched it with a little too much sauce to the point where every bite was saucy haha but it wasn't too bad. The lady was helpful when I was looking at the menu she waved me down offering me the physical copy so service was as not too bad just what you expect from a food court mall restaurant and the surroundings of course it was as per usual loud with music people chattering and enjoying themselves. Overall I enjoyed my experience but the noodles were a bit lacking and the plate itself was too drenched with the sauce but expect me to come back again cause I want to try their other stuff too.

11 months later and it's still delicioussssss! But I knew this considering I've had their chicken and beef combo for over a decade! It's my fav mall food of all time. I actually haven't tried anything other than their teriyaki chicken and beef. Both are cooked so well and their teriyaki sauce is addicting. I always want extra! It seems their portions might have changed but still as yummy as ever.

Let me start by saying-- DON'T GO TO PANDA SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES! Been forever since I sat down and ate at a mall food court, probably over a year or two. Ordered the SUPER BOWL which is their Chicken Teriyaki Bowl w/ 2pcs Fried Gyoza & 2pcs California Roll ($9.95). The workers behind the counter consisted of an middle aged man and woman, presumably husband and wife and I think they own it; I spoke to them asking about the menu and they were extremely nice and didn't rush me at all even though there was a line (no I didn't take forever lol). Since the regular Chicken Teriyaki Bowl is $7.95, it was a no brainer to spend $2 more for the 2pcs Fried Gyoza + 2pcs California Roll. Ordered, paid, and within 2 minutes my order was ready. Was a bit iffy since my order came out so fast but I think they had just reupped on everything as literally everything was fresh. PERFECTLY COOKED WHITE RICE PERFECTLY COOKED CHICKEN PERFECTLY COOKED GYOZA PERFECTLY MADE CALI ROLL As someone who has been severely underwhelmed by the rice served at mall food courts and mostly anywhere that's fast food, these folks are KOREAN and therefore know exactly how rice should be cooked. Fluffy, hot, NOT MUSHY (VERY IMPORTANT), NOT too sticky. They cook their rice in the Korean way which is very different than other Asian ways. ALTHOUGH I WILL SAY, THEIR FRIED RICE LOOKED SUBPAR- IF YOU WANT FRIED RICE, GET IT AT PANDA. BUT FOR TERIYAKI CHICKEN WITH TERIYAKI SAUCE, THEIR PERFECT WHITE RICE IS THE PERFECT COMBO.. TRUST ME Considering my bowl was only $9.95, I honestly expected generic quality like Panda or any other Asian mall spot.. COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I would eat here every damn day. The chicken used is NOT STRINGY, NOT FATTY, NOT ALL DARK MEAT, NOT CHEAP TASTING AT ALL. I love my chicken so I know when places buy low quality meat- this place doesn't. The 2x Fried Gyoza were light and crispy, not oily, perfect 4 bite total mini appetizer alongside the 2x California Roll pieces. Not sure why their rating is so low- seems like a lot of people acting bougie when they're ordering from a mall food court. The quality speaks for itself and the customer service was great, the lady was very inviting and passed out the menu to everyone in line for more details. Stop acting high and mighty over some spilled sauce or whatever tf you guys are giving this place a low rating for You know damn well you cleaned your plate at the end of the day!!!
